Signed US-Uruguay Memorandum of Understanding on Critical and Emerging Technologies
On 11 April 2024, the United States and Uruguay signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Critical and Emerging Technologies. This agreement, aims to foster cooperation in areas such as semiconductors, artificial intelligence, data flows, clean energy, telecommunications, cybersecurity, and biotechnology. The MoU establishes a Bilateral Working Group to identify and implement specific collaborative activities.
