Issued commitments following China-EU Competition Policy Week

On 2 April 2024, the Chinese General Administration of Market Regulation and the General Department of Competition of the European Commission jointly held the 27th China-EU Competition Policy Week in Beijing. The parties stated that they had exchanged information on digital market supervision, centralised review of operators, fair competition reviews, national aid control systems, and standard necessary patents. Furthermore, the parties agreed to engage in bilateral exchanges and cooperation in competition matters and create a fair competition market environment for a healthy development of bilateral economic and trade relations.
