Adopted NCA Internet of Things Cyber Security Guidelines

On 24 March 2024, the National Cyber Security Authority (NCA) of Saudi Arabia adopted the Internet of Things Cyber Security Guidelines. The guideline aims to ensure the compliance of entities utilising Internet of Things (IoT) technology across the Kingdom, including government agencies, private sector entities with sensitive infrastructure, and manufacturers of IoT technologies, with cybersecurity regulations. The guidelines focus on four main components, cybersecurity governance, cybersecurity defence, cybersecurity resilience, and third-party and cloud computing cybersecurity.
