Introduced Healthy Technology Act containing algorithm design requirements
The Healthy Technology Act is introduced in the US House of Representatives. The Act amends the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act to allow artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to be qualified as practitioners eligible to prescribe drugs. In particular, the technologies must be authorized by a State and approved by the Food and Drug Administration.
