United States of America: Introduced No Robot Bosses Act of 2024 including Artificial Intelligence authority governance (HR 7621)

On 12 March 2024, the No Robot Bosses Act of 2024 was introduced in the US House of Representatives. The Act would establish the Technology and Worker Protection Division at the Department of Labor to regulate the use of automated decision systems in the workplace, including through regular input from user, research and product advisory boards. The Act would give the Technology and Worker Protection Division the power to issue rules and guidelines implementing the Act.
