Implemented "ETDA DPS NOTIFIED" Mark Application System for General Digital Platforms

On 6 March 2024, the Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA) of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society in Thailand implemented the system for applying for the "ETDA DPS NOTIFIED" mark for "General Digital Platforms". The mark is available to platforms that meet the criteria under Section 8, paragraph one, with annual revenue exceeding THB 1.8 million (for individuals) or THB 50 million (for legal entities), or with more than 5’000 users per month. These platforms must have already notified their business operations under the Digital Platform Service (DPS) Law. The "ETDA DPS NOTIFIED" mark serves as a symbol that reflects the platform's status under the law, indicating that the platform has notified its business operations, verified its identity, and taken measures to provide services, as well as to serve, assist, and mitigate damages to service users, in accordance with the DPS Law.
