Closed consultation on METI Guidelines and Model Clauses for Handling Offensive Technical Information

On 22 December 2023, the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) closed the consultation on the draft of the 'Guidelines for the Handling and Utilization of Attack Techniques Information' and 'Model Provisions Concerning the Handling of Attack Technological Information That Should Be Included in Non-Disclosure Agreements'. The METI designed the documents to supplement the final report by the Industrial Cyber Security Study Group. The documents aim to promote information sharing on damage caused by cyber attacks in order to fully understand the scope of attacks and prevent the spread of damages.
