China: Announced Call for Participation in Standard Compilation for Generative AI Services

On 4 March 2024, the National Information Security Standardisation Technical Committee of China (TC260) announced a notice soliciting participating units for the standard compilation of 'Basic Security Requirements for Generative Artificial Intelligence Services in Cybersecurity Technology'. The aim is to encourage more participants in the standard compilation process, enhancing the openness, fairness, and transparency of the work, and improving the practicality and quality of the standards. The notice outlines the conditions for participation, including the ability to complete the tasks assigned by the leading unit, timely participation in standard compilation meetings, and active submission of technical contributions and suggestions. Applications should be submitted until 8 March 2024.
