Announced TSA cybersecurity directive on railroad and aviation industries

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) cybersecurity directive on railroad and aviation industries is announced by the Homeland Security Secretary. The directive is scheduled to be released this year and aims to strengthen the cybersecurity of railroads, aircraft and airport operators. It requires the designate a cybersecurity point person, the report of incidents to the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and the draft of a contingency and recovery plan in the case of cyber attacks.
