Introduced Bill to regulate AI systems, robotics, and related technologies (Bill 15869-19) including user rights

On 26 April 2023, the Bill to regulate AI systems, robotics, and related technologies (Bill 15869-19), including data protection measures, was introduced to the Chamber of Deputies of Chile. The Bill would require developers, providers, and users of AI systems, irrespective of the risk classification, to ensure that the AI systems are designed and developed in such a way that people are informed that they are interacting with an AI system. Developers, suppliers, and users are required to notify the Commission in the event of a serious incident or malfunction.
