India: Adopted Cyber Security in Power Sector Guidelines

The Cyber Security in Power Sector Guidelines are adopted by India’s power ministry. The guidelines aim to force companies operating in the power sector to review and update their information and communication equipment. In particular, the guidelines ask the companies to adhere to a series of cybersecurity principles, appoint a Chief Information Security Officer, identify critical information infrastructure, prepare a series of crisis plans and train staff on cybersecurity .
