Description

Adopted 13th Russian sanctions package including export controls and restrictions on technologies

On 23 February 2024, the Council of the European Union adopted the 13th package of sanctions against Russia. The package of sanctions expands the list of advanced technology items which can be used for the production and development of drones, including electric transformers, static converters, inductors used in drones, as well as aluminium capacitors, which have military applications. Furthermore, 27 Russian and third-country entities linked to Russia's military-industrial complex have been added to the list.
