United States of America: Introduced Connecticut Act Concerning Artificial Intelligence (SB 2) including Testing Requirements

On 7 February 2024, the Act Concerning Artificial Intelligence (AI) (SB 2) was introduced to the Connecticut General Assembly. The Bill would require developers to use reasonable care to protect consumers from any risk arising from the development or substantial modification of a high-risk generative artificial intelligence system. The Bill requires developers to manage known or reasonably foreseeable risks of algorithmic discrimination arising from the development or modification of such systems.
