Introduced New York Artificial Intelligence Bill of Rights (S8209) including user rights to the State Senate

On 12 January 2024, the New York Artificial Intelligence Bill of Rights (S8209) was introduced to the New York State Senate. The Bill stipulates that New York residents have the right to be informed when an automated system is in use and how and why the system contributes to outcomes that impact them.
