United States of America: Introduced New York Artificial Intelligence Bill of Rights (S 8209) including data privacy regulation to the State Senate

The Bill requires that individuals involved in designing, developing, and deploying automated systems in New York must adhere to the preferences of New York residents regarding their data's collection, usage, accessibility, transfer, and deletion to the maximum extent feasible. In cases where full compliance is unattainable, alternative privacy measures must be integrated into the system's design.
