Denmark: Announced Digital Development Strategy including Age Verification Requirements

On 8 February 2024, the Danish Government announced that a political agreement was reached concerning the "Digital Development Strategy", which includes a program to increase minors' online safety. In particular, the plan outlines the goal of including age verification requirements for digital platforms which would be achieved through a technical solution for age verification that does not allow a child to be identifiable.
