On 4 March 2024, the three European Supervisory Authorities (EBA, EIOPA and ESMA) closed their consultation on the draft Joint draft guidelines on the oversight cooperation and information exchange between the European Supervisory Authorities (ESAs) and the competent authorities. The guidelines aim to ensure effective cooperation and information exchange, covering procedures for designating critical providers, planning oversight activities, notification procedures, and following up on recommendations. The guidelines aim to promote consistent oversight across the EU and prevent redundant actions by authorities and the ESAs, who aim to finalise them by 17 July 2024.
