Published Roskomnadzor guidelines on reporting on placed online advertising

On 8 February 2024, the Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media (Roskomnadzor) published guidelines for reporting on placed online advertising. Based on Article 18.1 of the Law on Advertising from 1 September 2022, advertisers are required to label online advertising and transmit data about its placement to Roskomnadzor. In particular, the recommendations concern reporting to the Unified Register of Internet Advertising (ERIR) and outline clarifications on the scope, registering details, submitting statistics, and others.
