Introduced law to make the National Cyber Security Center the Finland’s National Coordination Center for cyber security matters

On 30 September 2021, the Finnish Government submitted a legislative proposal that outlines how the National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) is to become the designated National Coordination Center for cyber security matters in Finland. The NCSC makes part of the Ministry of Transport and Communications and would cooperate with the EU European Cybersecurity Competence Center. The NCSC would be tasked with establishing a network of national stakeholders, improving research and expertise on cybersecurity, and being the national point of contact.
