Announced Establishment of the PDPA Center

On 29 January 2024, the Minister of Digital Economy and Society announced the establishment of the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPA) Center. The PDPA Center serves as a hub for delivering personal information protection services, expanding communication channels for citizens and various agencies. The services offered by the PDPA Center encompass advisory and information services on PDPA laws, a complaint reception center for PDPA non-compliance, a Personal Data Violation Surveillance Center (PDPC Eagle Eye), a Knowledge and Academic Service Center on Personal Data Protection, a Coordination center for Personal Data Protection Officers (DPO), guidance on principles for regulating personal data protection, a Center for fostering cooperation in personal data protection, and a Center for promoting the use of personal data protection standards.
