Adopted AGCOM Resolution no. 9/24/CONS on the implementation of the Age Verification Procedure for Online Content Access

On 10 January 2024, the Authority for Communications Guarantees (AGCOM) adopted Resolution no. 9/24/CONS on the implementation of the age verification procedure for online content access. The resolution implements the decree no. 123/2023 and law no. 159/2023, establishing technical measures and methods that entities subject to age verification requirements would be required to follow. The technical measures and methods have to be developed within 60 days of the resolution publication.
