Adopted Order regulating the provision of data center services

On 1 January 2024, the Communications, Space, and Technology Commission of Saudi Arabia adopted an order regulating the delivery of data centre services. The order's objectives include enhancing service quality, safeguarding users, promoting investments in the data centre sector, and implementing initiatives to foster growth in data centre investments. Under the order, data centre service providers are allowed to register each data centre offering services, either wholesale or retail, within the country.
