Brazil: Opened consultation on Anonymisation and Pseudonymisation Guide for the Protection of Personal Data

On 30 January 2024, the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) opened a public consultation on its Anonymisation and Pseudonymisation Guide for the Protection of Personal Data until 14 March 2024. Through this Guide, the ANPD underscores its dedication to actively participating in the establishment of a robust and responsible culture of personal data protection in Brazil. The guide is designed to serve as a resource for promoting best practices in data protection. The primary goal of the consultation is to engage with the public, seeking input on the guide, currently in the preparatory phase, and addressing any questions or the need for additional clarification from the community.
