Finland: Opened public consultation on the acquisition of Ambientia Oy by HiQ International AB's

On 17 January 2024, the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (KKV) opened a public consultation on the acquisition of Ambientia Oy by HiQ International AB. The KKV is seeking views from customers, competitors, suppliers, industry associations, and federations on the potential impact of the transaction on competition. The companies in question are active in providing, amongst other things, consulting and implementation services in the IT sector. The KKV will intervene if the transaction is deemed to significantly impede effective competition in Finland. The consultation period is open until 23 January 2024.
