Announced GCBPR establishment of Global Cooperation Arrangement for Privacy Enforcement (CAPE)

On 16 October 2023, the Global Cross-Border Privacy Rules (GCBPR) Forum announced the establishment of the Global Cooperation Arrangement for Privacy Enforcement (CAPE), a multinational initiative allowing Privacy Enforcement Authorities (PEAs) worldwide to cooperate extensively in enforcing data protection and privacy regulations, including conducting joint investigations and enforcement measures. The membership in the Global CAPE is open to all regulatory bodies globally, not restricted to those of Global CBPR Forum Members or Associates.
