Introduced No AI FRAUD Act Providing Individual Property Rights in Likeness and Voice (HR 6943)

On 10 January 2024, the No AI Fake Replicas and Unauthorized Duplications (No AI FRAUD) Act was introduced to the United States Congress. The Act aims to address AI-generated fakes and forgeries by reaffirming the protection of every individual's likeness and voice, thereby giving individuals the right to control the use of their identifying characteristics. It also enables individuals to enforce this right against those who facilitate, create, and spread AI fraud without their permission. The individual property rights are intended to be freely transferable.
