Implemented ETDA order on details of the terms and conditions notified to the platform users (no. 4/2566)

On 3 January 2024, the Electronic Transactions Development Agency’s (ETDA) order on details of the terms and conditions notified to the platform users (no. 4/2566) entered into force. The order applies to platforms that charge for services, act as intermediaries for goods or services, have contracts with businesses to offer goods or services or provide search engine services. Among others, the terms of service must include service conditions, suspension or termination of services, service charges, main factors of algorithms used for ranking or recommending products or services, and use of data obtained from the digital platform service. Platforms have to report their terms of service and business information annually to the ETDA.
