Issued ruling by Beijing High People's Court in favour of JD.com in monopoly lawsuit against Alibaba

On 29 December 2023, the Beijing Municipal High People's Court issued its judgment in favour of JD.com in a lawsuit against Zhejiang Tiancat Network Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Tiancat Technology Co., Ltd., and Alibaba Group Holdings Co., Ltd. The Court ruled that Alibaba's "choose one out of two" monopoly behaviour was established, causing serious damage to JD.com. As a result, Alibaba was ordered to pay CNY 1 billion to JD.com.
