Closed consultation on Cybersecurity (Amendment) Bill

On 15 January 2024, the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) closed its consultation on the Cybersecurity (Amendment) Bill amending the Cybersecurity Act 2018. The proposed amendment would bring a stronger focus on critical information infrastructure and expand regulatory oversight to additional systems facing heightened cybersecurity risks, provide greater situational awareness and information sharing on threats and incidents, and require regulated entities to meet cybersecurity standards of practice, report incidents, and comply with government directives to improve resilience.
