Signed US-Japan Memorandum of Understanding to counter foreign information manipulation
On 6 December 2023, the US Under Secretary for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs and the Japan Ministry of Foreign Affairs signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to counter foreign information manipulation. The parties intend to cooperate in identifying and and taking measures against foreign information manipulation.
