Adopted Singapore-Mexico Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation on personal data protection

On 1 December 2023, Singapore's Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) and Mexico's National Institute for Transparency, Access to Information, and Personal Data Protection (INAI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to improve collaboration on personal data protection. The PDPC and INAI agreed to collaborate on the development of compatible data transfer mechanisms, support for technological innovation, information sharing, best practices exchange, and joint research on emerging privacy and data protection matters.
