Adopted corporate plan 2021–22 including data governance

On 31 August 2021, the Australian Information Commissioner ('AIC') adopted the corporate plan 2021-22. The plan consists of two parts: Part one outlines the priorities, regulatory functions, cooperation with other agencies and environment of the AIC. Part two is dedicated to the ongoing focus on privacy protection, security of personal information and prevention of data breaches as well as the strategic priorities of the AIC. Altogether, the plan intends to strengthen public trust and confidence in digital interactions through the protection of personal information in a digital economy.
