Russia: Issued ruling against Molchanovs Pte Ltd for refusing to localise data in Russia

On 16 October 2023, the Moscow Tagansky District Court issued its ruling in the case against diving equipment manufacturer Molchanovs Pte Ltd for refusing to localise data in Russia. The Court found that Molchanovs violated legislation in the field of personal data (part 8 of article 13.11 of the Russian Federation Code on Administrative Offences). The company was fined RUB 500'000.
