On 29 December 2022, Resolution No. 50/022 approving Ibero-American Data Protection Network Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the Uruguayan Regulatory Unit and Control of Personal Data (URCPD) entered into force. The SCC can be used for transfers to jurisdictions without an adequate data protection level.
