Implemented Law 181 implementing the Digital Markets Act in Luxembourg (Bill 8164)

On 31 March 2023, Law 181 of 29 March 2023 amending the law of 30 November 2022 relating to competition with a view to implementing the Digital Markets Act and the Regulation on Foreign Subsidies Distorting the Internal Market (Bill 8164) entered into force following its publication in the National Gazette. Notably, the Law designates the Luxembourg Competition Authority as the competent national authority that will cooperate with and assist the European Commission in the implementation of the Digital Markets Act.
