Announced Amendment to Federal Data Protection Act
On 9 August 2023, the German Federal Ministry of the Interior and Community published a draft of the Amendment to the Federal Data Protection Act. The Amendment seeks to provide a legal basis and institutionalise the German Datenschutzkommission (DSK), a platform for cooperation between the data protection authorities of the different states, which currently exists de facto.
