Introduced Bill aiming to regulate artificial intelligence through copyright (Bill 1630)

On 12 September 2023, the Bill aiming to regulate artificial intelligence through copyright (Bill 1630) was introduced in the National Assembly of France. The Bill would require entities developing artificial intelligence (AI) software to obtain the right holder authorisation in order to use copyrighted materials to develop and train their systems. Furthermore, the Bill would require content generated by AI systems to include a disclaimer "work generated by AI".
