Roskomnadzor decision not to ban Twitter

On 17 May 2021, the Russian telecom regulator Roskomnadzor decided that Twitter is not to be banned after Twitter's deadline to remove illegal content expired on 15 May 2021. On 10 March 2021, the regulator slowed down twitter and also threatened to ban Twitter if it did not comply with the take-down orders. Still, the down-throttling of Twitter is set to continue.
