Brazil: Consultation opened on ANPD supervision standard

The public consultation on the ANPD (new national data protection agency) supervision standard opens. The standard aims to set a inspection and enforcement mechanism for the ANPD when monitoring compliance with the new data protection law LGPD (Article 14). Article 15 establishes the means of enforcement, while article 16 lists the areas of competences. Further articles closely describe the different means of enforcement and which requirements need to be considered, when applying said means.
