On 9 August 2023, the EU Commission adopted an implementing regulation on the design of common logos to identify data intermediation service providers and data altruism organisations under the Data Governance Act. The regulation introduces standardised logos that can assist stakeholders in identifying data intermediation service providers and data altruism organisations that have been acknowledged in the EU. These organisations are required to display the common logo on all their online and offline publications related to their activities. Furthermore, data altruism organisations recognised within the Union must have their logo accompanied by a QR code that provides a link to the EU public register containing recognised data altruism organisations. This register will be accessible starting from 24 September 2023. The regulation aims to promote market transparency and help identify organisations that comply with the Data Governance Act.
