Argentina: Introduced Bill 1663/20 establishing Ombudsman for Internet Users and Social Networks

On 31 July 2020, Bill 1663/20, establishing the Ombudsman for Internet Users and Social Networks, was introduced in the Senate of Argentina. The Ombudsman would be required to assist users in adopting positive behaviours on the internet and social networks. The Ombudsman would also work to protect users' freedom of speech and privacy.
