Issued ruling in AAIP investigation into Google's compliance with Law 25.326 on Personal Data Protection

On 13 April 2020, the Agency for Access to Public Information (AAIP) concluded its investigation into Google's compliance with Law 25.326 on Personal Data Protection. The AAIP stated that Google violated Law 25.326 due to its refusal to give an individual access to its personal data, violating her data subject rights. The AAIP imposed a fine of AES 280'000, ARS 180'000 on Google Argentina and AES 100'000 on Google LLC.
