Adopted Commission Delegated Regulation establishing List of Essential Services under Critical Entities Resilience Directive

On 25 July 2023, the European Commission adopted a Delegated Regulation establishing the List of Essential Services under the Critical Entities Resilience Directive, which entered into force on 16 January 2023. In particular, the Commission proposed a non-exhaustive list of services for the eleven sectors and subsectors covered by the Directive, including the Digital infrastructure sector, with services such as the provision and operation of internet exchange point service, domain name system, top-level domain, cloud computing and data centres.
