Mexico: Notified intent of acquisition of Cornershop by Uber

On 16 October 2019, Uber notified the Mexican Federal Economic Competition Commission (COFECE) of its intention to acquire Cornershop. As provided by the Federal Competition Law, COFECE will review the potential competition effects of the transaction in the market before approving the merger.
