Mexico: Implemented Amendment to Mexican Copyright Law including Content Moderation Regulation

On 1 July 2020, the amendment to the Mexican Copyright Law entered into force. Under the amendment, Internet service providers may actively monitor content contrary to human dignity, content affecting rights and freedoms and content that encourage violence or the commission of a crime.
