Rejected Nebraska Uniform Personal Data Protection Act (LB 1188)

On 20 April 2022, the "Uniform Personal Data Protection Act" (LB 1188) was rejected after failing to pass before the legislature session adjourned. The Act introduced the data subject right to request access or correction of personal data and established notification requirements for data controllers.
