China: Approved Zhejiang Province First Standard Contract for Exporting Personal Information Abroad

On 10 July 2023, the Internet Information Office of the Zhejiang Province approved the standard contract for the export of personal information submitted by Bangbei Hydraulic Machinery (Hangzhou) Co. Ltd. It is the first company in Zhejiang Province to receive authorisation after the “Measures on Standard Contracts for Exporting Personal Information Abroad” entered into force in 2023. It is also the second personal information export standard contract to be approved at the national level.
