Italy: Adopted fourth decree implementing the national cybersecurity perimeter, on accreditation and certification

On 18 May 2022, the prime ministerial decree 92/2022 was adopted, defining accreditation and certification procedures as part of the implementation of the National Cybersecurity Perimeter. The decree defines and disciplines three types of structures: the national centre for evaluation and certification (CVCN), which disciplines and certifies both the centres for evaluation of ministries (CV) and the accredited testing laboratories (LAP).
