Issued Ruling in GAC Investigation into Oracle for violations of the Competition Act

On 9 September 2020, the General Authority for Competition (GAC) issued a ruling in its investigation of Oracle Corporation Limited (Oracle). Oracle was fined SAR 1,000,000 for violations of the Competition Law. Oracle failed to comply with reporting requirements and withheld information. Oracle also prevented judicial officers from viewing records and documents. This decision is supported by the Administrative Court of Appeal in Riyadh (No. 413).
