Signed China-Hong Kong Memorandum of Understanding on Promoting Cross-Border Data Flow in the Greater Bay Area Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao

On 29 June 2023, the Cyberspace Administration of China and the Bureau of Innovation, Technology and Industry of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Promoting Cross-Border Data Flow in the Greater Bay Area Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao to establish cooperation in the field of cross-border data protection. Based on the MoU, the parties aim to enable cross-border data and promote quality development in the Greater Bay Area Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao.
